EVERYDAY PEOPLE Chances are, if you're one to get out and experience the local music scene from time to time, you've probably caught a performance of a cover band. Nothing wrong with that you understand, but every once in a while a band comes along who change the rules and move the goalposts. Everyday People are just such an act and have arrived on the music scene ready to cause a splash big enough to encourage other like minded muso's to dip a toe in the water of the live music scene. Formed back in April 2009, these very talented musicians take from over 20yrs experience each to bring great music back to the masses. Cutting their teeth on the gigs other bands would turn down they've come together to create a 8pc band with everything. Being believers in never retreading old ground, David Gillespie, Dermot Gillespie, Davey Irvine, Ernie McMillen, Paul Murray, Tommy Quinn, Nathan Simpson, Tom Wall and Jon Auty set out to create a brand new approach to live music. The musical sounds of the sixties revisited with pin point accuracy. Rock, Pop, Soul, Blues classics with added spice and flavour. The hits of today with great hooks, big choruses and massive middle eights come as standard with this explosive new outfit. The easily digested arrangements with energetic guitar work allow this band to produce a set brimming with uber-memorable tunes. They are an essential addition to any music lover's live library.
